All I want for christmas

is a low A1C.

For those of you who didn't read NYT yesterday (like me), a new study has come out on tight control and the decreased risk of heart problems.

Yet another reason to get the AIC down.

Speaking of which- I have to go cover the 300 bs that accompanied all those chocolate holiday presents that are floating around our office.

Note to self* Just because you ate one bite of chocolate doesn't mean you don't need to cover it- especially when all those little bites add up to one big bar of wonderfulness.

Just want to say that a low A1C is not necessarily evidence of tight control. My son's last A1C was 5.8, but he had a lot of lows during the month prior to having this test. I would much prefer him to have a slightly higher A1C and not have so many lows.
